The reserve house is a fusion of modern tropical architecture and a number of bold futuristic elements including a 4.3m high angled concrete wall that enters through the entrance hall, a column in concrete in the shape of a flared "T" that supports an imposing cantilevered upper story, and overhanging basins that project towards the ocean, all of which combine to evoke the impression of movement. The site offering a wide frontage on the ocean, the design was able to respond with an architecture in the form of outstretched wings that seem to float above the local vegetation of the dunes, thus taking full advantage of the panoramic views of the beach and the sea.
